GE to Launches Oil and Gas JV in Northeast China

A joint venture is due to launch in the Shenyang Hunnan Economic Development Zone to provide repair and maintenance services for oil and gas equipment, according to a recent report from China Daily. Named GE Shenyang Turbomachinery Technology Co Ltd, the project is between General Electric (GE) Power Systems (GEPS), one of the world leading suppliers of power generation technology, and Shenyang Blower Works (SBW), a large manufacturer of centrifugal compressors,blowers and gears. It is the first investment for GEPS in China.
